Storm #1 & #2

First I want to thank Chris from the Podcast The Gravy Age for the digital codes he has given me so far! I’m trying to get into comics once more because I fell behind. Shouldn’t have been that hard cause i was only reading Harley Quinn and Tomb Raider. However I know I wasn’t very good at keeping track of when certain comics came out each month and I don’t really have the disposable income to keep up with them either. This Is a suitable compromise for the time being. 🙂

Can’t wait to get some more codes! I’m like a Code Junkie!  I will also be getting codes from Chris’s co host Kris 🙂 Good to have friends

Now before I start talking shop, just know i am not an expert when it comes to comics. Remember to keep that in mind when reading my opinions.  Someday I’ll be an expert on what makes a good or bad comic book but I’ll just take a stab at it for now. Any feedback u can give will be highly appreciated.

What to say about Storm? She has been a favorite X-Men of mine due to the fact she could control the weather and she could fly! What little girl wouldn’t like a mutant who could fly and make it rain if she so pleases!

I think the writing is pretty good. At first I can’t say I was really digging Storms look especially her hair in issue #1, but by the second issue it was starting to grow on me. I don’t know why I always think of Halle Berry and what she looked like in the Singer X-Men films.

Look forward to seeing where the story takes us. Can’t say for sure where its going to end up or when the story will pick up pace and more of a direction, the only thing I can do is wait and see!
